Pinkish-Orange Spinel from Mahenge 5.02 Carats Unheated Cushion

Natural pinkish-orange spinel from Mahenge (Tanzania) of 5.02 carats, cut as a cushion (modified brilliant crown, step-cut pavilion). The Mahenge area, revealed in 2007 by the discovery of enormous spinel crystals, today produces some of the most sought-after spinels on the market.

Its “pinkish-orange” colour is entirely natural: the stone has undergone no heat treatment, as confirmed by its GRS GemResearch Swisslab certificate (photoluminescence tested), with origin determination Tanzania.
