Natural pink spinel from Mahenge (Tanzania) weighing 6.18 carats, fashioned as an antique cushion (brilliant crown, step pavilion). The Mahenge region, revealed in 2007 by the discovery of enormous spinel crystals, today produces some of the most sought-after pink spinels on the market.

Its pink colour, of rich to medium saturation, is entirely natural: the stone has undergone no thermal treatment, as confirmed by its two certificates — Lotus Gemology (Bangkok) and GRS GemResearch Swisslab (Switzerland), both with a Tanzania origin determination.
